The article went on to talk about Troxler's Effect and how our brain's ability to hone in and focus on one specific thing. When we are able to do that, it makes other things irrelevant/disappear because the brain decides that the rest isn't necessary/important towards maintaining focus on the goal at hand.
It got me thinking about how this applies to living our best lives. We are what we choose to focus on. We have conditioned our brains to focus on the things we have decided on! It's that simple. So if we want to change our lives, we need to change what we focus on. We need to change how we focus on things and more importantly focus on things that make us stronger so we can block out things that don't!
Can you create and focus on a little black dot that makes your life better everyday? Will you continue to look at things in your 24 hour day that makes you stronger and healthier? Can you block out everything but that black dot? Make the decision to focus on a dark, strong, and bold dot that makes your life better than it was yesterday. Keep fighting to keep that focus strong and let your brain do the rest!
