Distant Learning Health and PE
This Coronavirus has really challenged our mindset and approach on teaching and education. This is especially true for the Health and Physical Education world since we rely heavily on activities, interaction, and social play.
I thought it would be a great idea with everything going in the world today to post some top-quality Health and PE resources can be taken straight from the classroom/gym and that can be applied towards home instruction.
These resources are sure to help prepare our profession in case gyms and schools need to close and Health and PE are brought into houses and more importantly extend our reach from our schools to our students directly.
Most of these resources will require very few pieces of equipment and mostly internet, cards, dice, and other pieces of equipment to bring them to life outside of the classroom/gym.
In a positive light, this will allow parents to also take an active role in helping their child/children make sure they get their active minutes and fitness in.
It also shows our resiliency as educators and how important education is for our youth.
Our gyms may get taken from us all, but they can't take away our passion and spirit to keep Health and Physical Education a top priority for all of our student's!
